A roundup of the latest Green Bay Packers articles for Monday, September 3.

Good morning and welcome to the Packers News Report. Also, welcome to Week 1 of the regular season. The buildup to the Green Bay Packers‘ regular season opener against the Chicago Bears this Sunday evening begins now.

The long offseason is over. Preseason is finished. It’s all about real football from now until the rest of the year. Hopefully it’ll be a long, successful season for the Pack.

Sunday’s game should be an interesting one. The new-look Bears, who have just traded for star pass rusher Khalil Mack, arrive at Lambeau Field to kickoff Green Bay’s 100th season. Will Mack play in this game? That will be a key question this week.

Before Sunday, it’s likely general manager Brian Gutekunst will make a number of roster moves. Currently, there are only two running backs and four outside linebackers on the 53-man roster, but also eight wide receivers. Expect that to change before the weekend.

So let’s get started with the Packers News Report for Monday. Here’s a roundup of the latest articles from around the internet.
