The Green Bay Packers made an unbelievable second half comeback from 20-0 down to defeat the Chicago Bears.

The first half was a nightmare. The second half was a dream for the Green Bay Packers.

Down 20-0 at the half with Aaron Rodgers injured, the game, possibly the season depending on the injury, looked in danger. Two quarters later, they were closing out an unthinkable 24-23 victory.

The opening two quarters couldn’t have gone any worse. The offense couldn’t get going. The defense couldn’t make a stop. Then Aaron Rodgers went down with a knee injury and left the field on a cart.

DeShone Kizer entered the game, and despite making an encouraging start, a couple of outstanding plays from Khalil Mack resulted in two turnovers, one a pick-six to make the score 17-0 at the half.

But in the third quarter, Rodgers returned to the game. He was clearly limited due to the knee injury, much like when he injured his calf in 2014, but the offense got going.

Green Bay had to settle for a field goal, but a defensive stand gave the ball right back to the offense, and Rodgers threw a beautiful pass to Geronimo Allison for 39-yard touchdown, making the game 20-10.

Following the Allison touchdown, Mike Pettine’s defense made yet another excellent stop, forcing a three-and-out to give the ball right back to the offense.

Just five plays later, the Packers had the football back in the end zone. This time, Davante Adams made two incredible plays. The first was a 51-yard catch-and-run, followed by a 12-yard touchdown with an excellent diving effort after making the catch.

The Bears came back with a 14-play drive that took over six minutes off the clock. But they had to settle for a field goal to give them a six-point lead.

Over to Rodgers. Incomplete pass. Incomplete pass. Complete to Randall Cobb for a 75-yard touchdown. The Packers lead the game.

Now it was over to Pettine’s defense.

After it looked like the Bears had turned it over on downs, Clay Matthews was called for a roughing the passer penalty, giving Chicago hope.

But the Packers delivered again, Nick Perry ending the game with a sack on fourth-and-10.

Somehow, some way, the Green Bay Packers won the game.
