A roundup of the latest Green Bay Packers articles for Sunday, September 9.

Good morning and welcome to the Packers News Report. This is it. The Green Bay Packers kick off their regular season against the Chicago Bears tonight.

It’s been a long, long time since the Pack last played a meaningful game. You’d have to go back to the Carolina Panthers game on December 17. That was 266 days ago, or 38 weeks.

Green Bay lost that game, Aaron Rodgers’ first back after breaking his collarbone. As a result, the team was eliminated from playoff contention, which made the final two regular season games meaningless.

But that was then. The new season is finally here. In this game day edition of the Packers News Report is an article on the importance of the pass rush in tonight’s game, fantasy advice, and more.

Here’s a roundup of the latest articles from around the internet.
