Aaron Rodgers threw touchdown passes to three different wide receivers on Sunday night, leading to big fantasy numbers for all three Green Bay Packers pass catchers.

For a while it looked like it was going to be a long night for the Green Bay Packers on both sides of the ball.

But once Aaron Rodgers returned to the field after injuring his knee in the first half, the Packers got rolling on offense, leading to big fantasy numbers for Rodgers and the wide receivers.

Let’s take a look back at the fantasy impact from the season opener.

Super Aaron Rodgers: Considering Rodgers missed a quarter and then played hurt for the entire second half, his numbers were incredible. The two-time MVP threw for 286 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. He had one rush for 15 yards.

Rodgers didn’t just help the Packers pull off the comeback victory, he also posted strong QB1 numbers in fantasy.

All eyes will be on the injury report this week. The Packers need Rodgers to play.

Quiet night for Jamaal WilliamsWilliams had 15 carries on the night, but posted just 41 rushing yards. It’s likely he would have been more involved had the Packers not fallen so far behind in the game.

It will be another tough test for Williams next week against the Minnesota Vikings.

Receivers star in victory: The Packers’ top three wide receivers — Davante Adams, Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison — all stepped up in the second half.

Cobb led the way with nine catches for 142 yards and a touchdown. A huge night for anyone who started him in fantasy. Adams was excellent too, making five receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown. Allison caught five passes for 69 yards and a score.

Rookies Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown weren’t involved. J’Mon Moore was inactive for the game.

Just two catches for Jimmy GrahamGraham had just two catches for eight yards, a disappointing performance for Graham owners expecting TE1 numbers. It’s not time to worry, though. The Rodgers-to-Graham connection could become a key factor next week against Minnesota.

The rest: Ty Montgomery had just two carries for seven yards, and he also caught two passes for 21 yards. Montgomery remains a tough player to start in fantasy. Mason Crosby was perfect, but he only had one field goal attempt with three extra points, limiting his fantasy total.

The Packers’ defense and special teams had a solid game. They held Chicago’s offense to just 16 points, sacked Mitch Trubisky four times and forced a fumble.
