Quarterbacks: A-

Once again Aaron Rodgers has shown us that he is super human. Although he did have some trouble getting going during the first half before his injury.

Prior to his injury, he was just three-for-seven passing for 13 yards. It’s very rare to see Rodgers start off so slow against the Bears. Some of this could be attributed to the pass rush. There were a number of plays that Rodgers had hardly any time and Chicago was able to capitalize on this by sending a number of blitzers on each play, giving Rodgers fits.

But as Rodgers returned to start the second half of play, he was able to put together one of the best performances of his career. In the second half, Rodgers was 17/23 with 273 yards and three touchdowns. He finished the game with a passer rating of 130.7, just an amazing half of football.

Even with the slow start, given the circumstances this would be an A+ performance in my book. But we do need to factor in DeShone Kizer’s snaps. He was able to put together a few nice passes and move the Packers into the red zone but made some huge errors after that, which included a fumble and a pick-six. Overall, Kizer was 5/7 for 55 yards.

Kizer may have struggled but when handing out grades, I’m not going to let that take away from Rodgers’ heroics.
