Fantasy fallout after the Green Bay Packers’ Week 2 tie with the Minnesota Vikings.

It was an entertaining game, even if the result was disappointing for both the Packers and Vikings.

There were also mixed results for fantasy.

Let’s take a look back at how the Packers offense performed for fantasy, and what we can take away from the Week 2 tie.

Just one touchdown for Aaron RodgersDespite posting a solid 16 fantasy points, Rodgers was ranked 18th among quarterbacks in ESPN scoring in Week 2. Rodgers played hurt and was up against an elite defense.

He still threw for 281 yards on the day, but with just one touchdown pass and only eight rushing yards due to his injury, Rodgers’ numbers were disappointing. Especially given the early draft pick owners had to spend on the two-time MVP.

Rodgers’ fantasy points won’t have cost you victory. That is, of course, unless you played against Ben Roethlisberger (39 points) or Patrick Mahomes (38.8 points).

Jamaal Williams leads the backfield: If you played Williams in a tough matchup, he returned 10 PPR points. Not bad. Williams was the clear leader in the backfield with 19 touches compared to Ty Montgomery’s six. Williams finished with 71 all-purpose yards (59 rushing, 12 receiving).

What role will returning Aaron Jones have in the backfield next week? Williams’ excellent pass protection could keep him on the field.

Davante Adams delivers again: Adams should be started with confidence every week, no matter the matchup. Up against Xavier Rhodes, Adams caught six passes for 64 yards and a touchdown, and was unlucky not to hold on to what would’ve been another score. Adams finished with an impressive 20.4 points in PPR.

Jimmy Graham makes an impact: Graham didn’t find the end zone, but he led the team with 95 receiving yards on six catches. He also controversially had a touchdown wiped out. Graham had a strong day in fantasy, but it could have been much better had a penalty not been called.

Big day for Mason CrosbyCrosby was near-perfect yet again, converting five of his six field goal attempts. Initially, his 52-yard attempt to win the game was good, but the Vikings had called timeout just before the kick. His second effort was missed, which led to overtime. But take nothing away from his incredible performance. Crosby led kickers for Week 2 with a game-changing 18 points.

The rest: Randall Cobb had a quieter game than in Week 1, catching four passes for 30 yards. Geronimo Allison put together a solid PPR performance with six receptions for 64 yards (12.4 points).

With just 40 total yards, Ty Montgomery should remain on fantasy benches, especially with Aaron Jones returning from suspension in Week 3.

Green Bay’s D/ST came away with a special teams touchdown, a blocked punt, an interception and two sacks, but did allow 29 points and 480 yards.
