Which Green Bay Packers players should you start, sit in fantasy Week 3 against Washington?

The Cleveland Browns created gigantic hype entering Week 3 of the season. The Thursday night game had fans across the nation cheering for Cleveland as they finally received their first W in nearly two years.

Baker Mayfield checked in for an injured Tyrod Taylor and proved to everyone why he was the first pick overall in the 2018 draft. The Browns were down by a 14-point deficit when Mayfield took the field, and he led the team to a comeback win in three quarters.

The fans of the Dawg Pound might still have a collective hangover going into Sunday.

The Green Bay Packers had less hype in Week 2 versus the Minnesota Vikings. A tie was not exactly the game plan as the final score ended 29-29 in overtime. Even though it doesn’t technically count as a loss, a tie never feels good either.

The Packers and Vikings are the top two contenders to win the NFC North, which makes a tie feel more like a waste of time than anything else. The week came to a close regardless and the focus switches towards the Washington Redskins in their third game this season.

Washington looked tough in Week 1 when they faced the Arizona Cardinals. Alex Smith and Adrian Peterson showed fierce potential against Arizona. That potential fell flat in Week 2 when they lost to Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts. It appears the dominant offense in Week 1 was nothing more than smoke and mirrors as Arizona have become contenders for the worst team in the NFL.

Luckily the Packers offense isn’t an illusion based on matchups. Their dominance starts with the brilliance of Aaron Rodgers and ends with the athleticism the rest of the team brings. Green Bay has a lot of toys to play with, so let’s look into the start ’em and sit ’em against Washington this week.
