4. Randall Cobb

Randall Cobb had one of the worst games of his career last week. Two big drops and a fumble highlighted Cobb’s day.

To his credit, Cobb did not back down, took ownership of his performance and vowed to bounce back in a big way. This is the type of game that could be huge for him. With uncertainty on the right side of the line, it’s likely Mike McCarthy will look for quick passes early and often.

Cobb is a master at the quick wide receiver screen and getting yards after the catch. Cobb also has a great connection with Rodgers when the play breaks down.

Week 1 showed how much value Cobb still has to this team. His nine catches and 142 yards were game-highs. Despite the bad game in Washington, Rodgers still has confidence in Cobb.

Getting Cobb and Adams going early can open holes in the run game for whoever McCarthy decides to play back there (Aaron Jones please) as well as the offense as a whole. The Packers are still looking for a complete game as a team. Cobb bouncing back from a dreadful performance could go a long way to ensure that game finally happens this week.
