Three takeaways from the Green Bay Packers’ Week 4 win against the Buffalo Bills.

After a win, a loss and a tie, the Green Bay Packers got back on track in Week 4 by defeating the Buffalo Bills at Lambeau Field.

In the Packers’ third home game of the season, they needed to get a victory. It wasn’t a faultless performance, but head coach Mike McCarthy won’t care. They remain just half a game behind the Chicago Bears (3-1), and are now ahead of the Minnesota Vikings (1-2-1) and Detroit Lions (1-3).

Green Bay dominated time of possession in this game, which was largely due to an excellent defensive performance. More on that in a moment.

The Packers have been inconsistent throughout the season. The offense struggled in the first half against the Bears but dominated in the second. They built a lead against the Vikings but were then lucky not to lose the game in overtime.

The Bills proved last week that they aren’t a team to underestimate. But the Packers were in control of the game, and did what the Vikings were expected to do a week ago.

The Packers have two more games before their bye, at Detroit and at home to San Francisco. Two wins would put them 4-1-1 and in a strong position. They moved one step closer on Sunday.

What did we learn from the Packers’ Week 4 win over the Buffalo Bills? Here are the top three takeaways.
