The Green Bay Packers have moved up in the NFL Spin Zone power rankings after Week 4.

After their 22-0 win over the Buffalo Bills, the Green Bay Packers have moved up one spot to No. 10 in the latest NFL Spin Zone rankings.

Despite the Packers’ dominant defensive performance, the offense couldn’t get out of its own way. It was an opportunity for the Packers to put together a big victory and get some rhythm on offense.

But that wasn’t to be. And despite coming away with a comfortable, much-needed victory, there were plenty of negatives to take away from the game.

But as Dan Parzych of NFL Spin Zone pointed out in the article, part of that could be down to Randall Cobb‘s absence:

"“Defeating Buffalo 22-0 may not seem like the most impressive win on paper since one would think that Green Bay would have been able to put up a ton of more points, but also keep in mind that Rodgers was without one of his top targets in Randall Cobb.”"

Green Bay did enough to get the job done on offense, but the unit will need to be much better on the road against the Lions next week. The Packers will be hoping both Cobb and Geronimo Allison are healthy for the game.

But the struggles on offense shouldn’t overshadow an excellent defensive performance. The game was never in doubt thanks to a dominant afternoon by Mike Pettine’s unit.

While the Bills won’t be the toughest offense Green Bay plays against this year, Buffalo raced to a 27-0 lead in Minnesota last week.

Green Bay is yet to put together a complete performance on both sides of the ball this year. The offense has been up-and-down.

At its best the defense has been dominant, as it was this week and in the second half at Washington. But at its worst, we see them give up 28 points in one half against the Redskins.

The Packers have a lot to improve as the season goes on, but the good news is that they are 2-1-1 and in a healthy position in the NFC North entering a key divisional matchup at Detroit next week.
