3. Marquez Valdes-Scantling

Against Detroit, Marquez Valdes-Scantling caught his first touchdown and was a key player in the game. With Allison and Cobb nursing hamstring injuries, MVS will be asked to step up again.

Even if both players are able to suit up, there is no telling how effective they will be. It’s also possible they will be limited in the game with a bye week coming up to help in the recovery.

Either way, the continued growth and development of MVS will go a long way for the Packers offense in 2018. MVS has speed no other player on the roster possess and at some point, the Packers will look to take advantage of it.

A few well-timed bombs towards Valdes-Scantling can loosen up the defense and take away from the attention the Packers are getting on underneath routes.

The Packers will look for a quicker start on offense than they have been getting. Timing routes and quick throws will be the recipe for success in the game. The defenses know this and will look to take those away. Sending MVS deep will make the defense think twice and move those corners and safeties a little further off the line and make some of those shorter routes get open.
