Aaron Rodgers is getting close to 100 percent just at the right time for the Green Bay Packers.

The two-time MVP has been limited since the season opener with a knee injury. While he’s still been able to move around and even run the ball when he’s needed to, Rodgers hasn’t been 100 percent.

But according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Rodgers was a full participant at Wednesday’s practice.

Entering by far the toughest stretch of the season, the Packers need Rodgers to be at his best, starting this week against the undefeated Los Angeles Rams.

It’s hard to believe Green Bay’s defense will have an answer for the Rams offense. Rodgers and the offense will need to be able to put up touchdowns, not field goals, in order to keep up.

The Packers offense has been inconsistent so far this season.

At times, Rodgers has looked as good as ever. His performance in the second-half comeback victory against the Bears was one of the best of his career, playing on an injured knee.

But simple mistakes have been an issue for this team. Dropped passes, missed throws, not seeing open receivers.

If the offense can put together a complete performance they will have a chance in the upcoming games against the Rams and Patriots.

The good news it that the Packers could have two starters on offense returning this week.

Wide receivers Geronimo Allison and Randall Cobb, who have both missed multiple games with hamstring injuries, were limited during Wednesday’s practice, potentially a good sign for Sunday.

Getting Allison and Cobb back on the field would give the entire offense a boost.

The bye week has helped the Packers rest and get healthier. But the best news from the week off is that Aaron Rodgers appears to be closer to 100 percent. We’ll see if that’s the case during the game on Sunday.
