The Green Bay Packers return from bye to take on the Los Angeles Rams. Which Packers can you start in fantasy football this week?

The Packers could have wide receivers Geronimo Allison and Randall Cobb back for this game. The bad news is that Green Bay plays at 3:25 C.T. on Sunday, so be sure to check for injury updates on Sunday morning.

Friday’s injury report will give us a clue. It’s possible both players will be removed from the report.

Who should you start, sit in this game?

Start

Aaron RodgersYou’re starting Aaron Rodgers every week. This should be a high-scoring game and the Packers could be playing from behind. In that case, Rodgers will need to throw more often. The Rams have given up at least two touchdown passes in four of their past five games.

Davante AdamsAdams has been a touchdown machine once again this season, and he now has 28 touchdowns in his past 36 regular season games. Since then, Antonio Brown has 27. Julio Jones has nine.

Adams is also averaging 92.8 receiving yards per game this season, despite some tough cornerback matchups against Xavier Rhodes, Darius Slay and Tre’Davious White.

He could have another big game here.

Geronimo Allison: Allison has been a key part of the Packers offense when healthy this season. He’s a receiver Aaron Rodgers trusts, and he’s been consistent in fantasy. If he’s back this week, put Allison in your lineup.

Jimmy GrahamFinding consistent play from the tight end position isn’t easy, but Graham is becoming a more important piece in this offense. In his past two games, Graham has 19 targets, catching 11 of them for 180 yards. Graham is quickly becoming an every-week starter at tight end in fantasy.

Sit

Aaron JonesThere’s a chance Mike McCarthy made the decision during the bye week to give Jones a featured role on offense moving forward. If that’s the case he could have a big game here. But it’s also possible (and probably more likely) that the Packers will continue to rotate the three running backs.

Jamaal Williams/Ty MontgomeryWilliams has rushed for less than 30 yards three times in six games and is yet to score a touchdown. Montgomery only has more than seven touches in a game once this year.

If you had to start one running back it would be Jones, who has been efficient even with a limited role. By starting either Williams or Montgomery, you’re hoping for a touchdown.

Randall Cobb: If Cobb is available in your league, pick him up and add him to your bench. But after an excellent Week 1, Cobb was quiet against the Vikings and then dropped two passes and fumbled against Washington. Even if he’s back from injury this week, keep Cobb on your bench for now.

Marquez Valdes-ScantlingWith Cobb and Allison possibly back Sunday, MVS will see fewer snaps. While he deserves a role in this offense, it’s best to take a wait-and-see approach.
