When the schedule was released back in April, it was clear the Packers would then to put wins on the board early in the season. Four of their first six games were at home — they won three of them and tied one, but were blown away in their only two road games.

Ahead of the season, on paper it looked possible the Packers could have even entered their bye week at 6-0. The toughest games looked to be at home, and road games at Washington and Detroit looked winnable.

That hasn’t been the case, and at 3-2-1, the Packers will need to start winning on the road to stay on track for the playoffs.

The good news is that Green Bay should have a number of key players back from injury this week. Geronimo Allison, Jaire Alexander and Bryan Bulaga are all healthy and look set to play against the Rams.

Randall Cobb is listed as questionable for the game on the injury report, but he was a full participant at Friday’s practice.

Getting healthy was a benefit of the bye week. The Packers need to be at their best to have a chance on Sunday, and getting closer to 100 percent will help.
