Five Packers to Watch Versus the Patriots: No. 3 –  Kenny Clark/Mike Daniels

One of, of not both of the Packers interior defensive players will have to have a big game.

The easiest and best way to rattle Brady and disrupt his rhythm is coming at him straight up the middle. If Kenny Clark and or Mike Daniels can apply heavy pressure on Brady, Brady won’t have time in the pocket to carve up the defense.

Brady is not a mobile player who makes a lot of plays outside the pocket, but, he does move well inside the pocket to give himself time and room to throw.  Collapsing the pocket will make Brady move off his spot enough to not feel comfortable.

For as great as Brady is, he can be rattled if he cannot step up into the throw and if he has pressure in his face.

Should Daniels and Clark handle the Patriots interior o-line, this may cause the Patriots to allocate one of the best weapons and James White to pass protection.

Mike Pettine’s experience against Brady should help.  His game plan against the Rams last week worked as well as he could have hoped. But, Brady is a different animal altogether and for the Packers to pull off the upset Daniels and Clark will have to play huge roles.
