4. Randall Cobb

It has been two games since Randall Cobb’s return from injury and he has yet to make an impact. I expect that to change this week. After missing three games and having a bye week, Cobb should be closer to 100 percent.

I do expect Adams to get his fair share of double coverage this week against the Dolphins. It’ll be harder for Marquez Valdes-Scantling to be overlooked after two weeks of big plays in nationally televised games. There should be plenty of opportunity for Cobb.

Cobb hasn’t had a big game since Week 1 versus the Bears. Injuries are to blame, but even when on the field, he hasn’t been the first-down machine he’s been in the past.

With Geronimo Allison now on injured reserve, Cobb and Adams are the only receivers with multiple seasons with Aaron Rodgers in the Packers offense. Outside of Rodgers, no one has been in the Packers offense longer. I have no doubt Adams will do his part, the team will need Cobb to do his.

Replacing Allison’s production will come from more than one player, but none of those players have the experience Cobb does. If he would like a contract like his previous one, he needs to start performing.
