The Green Bay Packers have moved up three spots in the latest NFL Spin Zone power rankings ahead of Week 11.

Can this one win give the Packers the confidence they need to stay in the playoff race?

It wasn’t a dominant victory over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, but it was comfortable enough. And they’ll take it.

After losing three of their past four games before Week 10, the Packers now enter a short week looking to win consecutive games for the first time all season.

With their victory on Sunday, Green Bay has moved up to 13th in the NFL Spin Zone power rankings. Here’s what Dan Parzych had to say about Aaron Jones’ dominant performance:

"“After watching the Packers running back finish Sunday’s game with 145 rushing yards to go along with two touchdowns, it will be interesting to see if Jones can continue this success moving forward since it would certainly take a ton of pressure off Rodgers under center.”"

Jones has to be given a featured role moving forward. He had a team-high 15 carries on Sunday and posted career-best numbers.

Jones gives the Packers a great chance to pull off a victory in a tough road game on Thursday night. Seattle will attempt to take away Green Bay’s passing game, but by committing to the run game and giving Jones the ball, he can change that.

To stay in playoff contention, this team needs to fix its poor road record. Green Bay has lost all four of its road games so far this season and will likely need to win two or three of its remaining four to have a chance.

Two of those four road games take place in the next two weeks, at Seattle and Minnesota. Two losses would put the Packers in a bad position at 4-6-1 with just five games to play.

But for now, the focus is on the Seattle Seahawks. This will be Green Bay’s first trip to CenturyLink Field since the 2014 NFC Championship Game. Both teams need a win.
