5. Kyler Fackrell

Like Greene, Kyler Fackrell kinda, sorta, makes the list twice. Fackrell was one of the six players to record a sack, but he was so much more important in the game.

For the first time I can remember, Fackrell was moved all over the formation and used equally in run support, pass rush and coverage. For the game, Fackrell finished with four tackles and a sack.

Fackrell moved past Clay Matthews and Nick Perry in the stats column, and if the way he was used in this game was an indicator, he may be moving at least past Perry in terms of playing time.

Yes, Perry left the game with a knee injury, but Fackrell was well on his way to playing a prominent role in the game at that point already.

If Perry’s injury is serious or not, Fackrell will continue to gain playing time. He now has two sacks in the past three weeks and may be their best option on the outside. Fackrell has one more sack (five) than Perry and Matthews combined (four).

The Packers now have a short week before heading to face an improved Seahawks team. Seattle just went toe-to-toe with the Rams and came up just short of coming home with a win.

CenturyLink Field has been a personal house of horrors for the Packers, and this is their first trip back since the infamous 2014 NFC Championship Game. It wouldn’t be an understatement to say the Packers will need performances like this and then some to come away with their second win in a row and first on the road.
