1. Kyler Fackrell

Filling in for an injured Nick Perry, Kyler Fackrell turned in his best performance of his three-year career Thursday night. Fackrell finished with six tackles, three sacks and a batted pass.

This is Fackrell’s second three-sack game on the year and he now has a team-leading eight sacks this season. Don’t look now, but Fackrell has as many sacks as Khalil Mack.

I’m not saying Fackrell is on Mack’s level, he isn’t. But he is giving the Packers defense something they have not been getting form their two high-priced veterans, Perry and Clay Matthews. Fackrell made the most of his start and harassed Russell Wilson all night long.

Fackrell’s best play is one that didn’t even get him on the stat sheet, with the Seahawks facing a third down deep in their own territory late in the second quarter. Russell Wilson scrambled to his left looking to buy time. Fackrell, seeing he did not have a receiver enter his zone, made a bee-line for Wilson and forced an incompletion.

Fackrell now has a total of five sacks in the last four games and is making his case to stay in the starting line up even after Perry returns. At the very least, he should be used more in pass-rushing situations over his counterparts.
