2. Aaron Jones

Much like 90 percent of the Packers, Aaron Jones’ production came mostly in the first half. That shouldn’t take his contribution out of the spotlight though. Jones finished with 72 yards on 17 carries and a touchdown for a 4.2 yards-per-carry average.

Jones also chipped in with three catches for 21 yards.

Like Davante Adams, Aaron Jones is doing all that he can.

MUST READ: Three things the Green Bay Packers must do this offseason

After guard Lane Taylor and left tackle David Bakhtiari left the game, Vikings defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer played both safeties back and dared the Packers to run the ball.

The replacements along the offensive line were not up to the challenge. The Packers couldn’t move the Vikings defensive line off the ball and the penultimate moment came when Mike McCarthy went for it on fourth-and-one and couldn’t gain the yard.

Harrison Smith bust through the line and Jones went nowhere.

Jones now has 606 yards and six touchdowns on the season and has a legitimate shot at breaking 1,000 yards on the ground despite the team’s hesitance to use him.

Jones can become the first back since Eddy Lacy in 2014 to go over that mark. That is, if McCarthy gives him the ball enough.
