Good morning and welcome to the Packers News Report. The Green Bay Packers have been eliminated from playoff contention after their Week 15 defeat to the Chicago Bears. The loss also means the Bears are NFC North champions for the first time since 2010.

Green Bay now enters an offseason of change, and this team faces a number of big questions in the next few months. Why did the Packers, with Aaron Rodgers starting every game, not meet expectations? How could a team with Rodgers get eliminated from playoff contention with two games remaining?

A big reason is the 0-7 record away from Lambeau Field. Green Bay gets one more opportunity to win a road game next week against the New York Jets.

For us fans, it doesn’t really matter if they finish 1-7 or 0-8 on the road. The interest now turns to the search for a head coach, free agency and the 2019 NFL Draft. It’s going to be one of the most interesting offseasons in recent years.
