Five players to watch for the Green Bay Packers in Week 16.

With the Packers officially eliminated, they can start their work towards 2019. While we are unaware of who the next head coach might be, we do know there are young players waiting to show what they can do and cement their place on next year’s squad.

The Packers travel to New York this Sunday to face a team that will be in a similar position when the season ends, out of the playoffs and potentially looking for a new head coach.

Todd Bowles he not yet been fired, but the writing is on the wall and it’s possible he is let go at the conclusion of the season.

The Jets are not an overly talented team but have played surprisingly well at times this season. Rookie quarterback Sam Darnold is the player Gang Green has been waiting years for. They seem to have finally found their franchise quarterback and can stop the revolving door that’s been there since Mark Sanchez went sixth overall in 2009.

On defense, Jamal Adams is an ascending young safety with all the talent in the world. Leonard Williams is also a very talented lineman that would probably be somewhere in the top-10 at his position.

With such a young team, look for the Jets to come out with a feisty attitude. As a team, they know they are playing for their future and knocking off Aaron Rodgers, even on a down year, would be an accomplishment for this group.

For the Packers, this is their last chance to win a road game in 2018.
