How to watch the Green Bay Packers’ Week 16 game against the New York Jets.

On Sunday the Green Bay Packers meet the New York Jets for the first time in over four years.

The Jets visited Lambeau Field in Week 2 of the 2014 season, and took a surprising 21-3 lead in the second quarter, but the Packers came back to win 31-24 and get their first victory of the year. It was their first in a 12-4 season that ended a game short of the Super Bowl.

Sunday’s game isn’t as important as we hoped it’d be when the schedule was released in the spring. The Packers were expected to enter Week 16 in playoff contention, possibly on their way to an NFC North title.

Instead, both the Packers and Jets are eliminated from playoff contention and enter this game with little to play for.

Here’s how to watch Sunday’s game:

Date: Sunday, Dec. 23
Kickoff time: 12:00 p.m. CT
Stadium: MetLife Stadium
TV channel: FOX
Live stream: FuboTV
Predictions: Picks for every Week 16 game

It will be interesting to see whether interim head coach Joe Philbin treats this like a normal game or whether he gives more snaps to young players on the roster.

One thing Green Bay will be trying to avoid is an 0-8 record on the road. The Packers have now lost their past nine games away from Lambeau Field going back to last season. This is their final opportunity to put a win on the board on the road in 2018.

Draft order is also a focus for many teams this time of year. According to Tankathon, Green Bay currently owns the 11th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft entering Week 16.

The Packers will have a pick no lower than 19th overall, but with two losses in the next two weeks, they could still pick as high as third overall next April.

Can Green Bay finally win a game away from Lambeau Field? It’s been over a year since its last road win, at Cleveland on Dec. 10, 2017.
