2. Jamaal Williams

Starting for an injured Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams had a great game and was a big contributor in the passing game as well as on the ground.

Williams finished with 95 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries, while adding six catches for 61 yards.

Williams’ touchdown was a wonderful display of effort. Thought to be going down after a hit from a Jets defender, Williams managed to stay on his feet and dive forward to cross the goal line and score the touchdown.

On a third-quarter screen pass, Williams set up his blockers nicely and took the ball for a 26-yard gain.

Williams had to play the role of the workhorse with no other back on the Packers roster being on the team longer than a few weeks. He was up to the task and looks to be the thunder to Aaron Jones’ lightning going into the 2019 season.

3. Equanimeous St. Brown

Equanimeous St. Brown had his best game as a pro versus the Jets. St. Brown had five catches for 94 yards on the game. His numbers may have been better if not for having to leave the game early.

St. Brown was knocked out of the game to be evaluated for a concussion after his fifth catch, a beautiful sideline grab with the Packers backed up deep in their own territory. St. Brown also showed good ability with the ball in his hands picking up yardage after the catch.

EQ, as the Packers players call him, has moved ahead of Marquez Valdes-Scantling in the pecking order and has put forth a good case to have an increased role in 2019.

I hope St. Brown will be able to clear protocol and play in next week’s season finale.
