Three first-round options for the Green Bay Packers in the 2019 NFL Draft.

The offseason has finally arrived for all 32 teams. And for the Green Bay Packers, it’s a particularly interesting one following the change at head coach. The Matt LaFleur era is underway in Green Bay, but it’s now over to general manager Brian Gutekunst to build the roster in the coming months.

The 2019 NFL Draft is now under three months away, and as ever the draft will be a key piece of the offseason. With two first-round picks this April, the Packers will have an excellent opportunity to add talent on the opening day of the draft.

After winning just six games in 2018, the Packers will have their highest pick in a decade with the 12th overall selection. They will also receive the 30th overall pick from the New Orleans Saints after Green Bay traded down with New Orleans in last year’s draft.

With upgrades needed at edge rusher, safety, tight end and along the offensive line, Gutekunst could go in a number of different directions in the first round. Will he focus on the defense with both picks, or could the Packers use one on defense and one on offense?

Let’s take a look at three potential first-round options for the Packers in the 2019 NFL Draft.
