T.J. Hockenson remains a popular choice for the Green Bay Packers in mock drafts.

We’re under a month away from the start of free agency, and a little over two months from the 2019 NFL Draft.

Who could the Green Bay Packers select in the opening round?

Here’s a roundup of a number of mock drafts.

Trevor Sikkema (The Draft Network)

In his latest mock draft, Trevor Sikkema of The Draft Network has the Packers selecting Iowa tight end T.J. Hockenson with the 12th overall pick, followed by Alabama safety Deionte Thompson with the 30th selection. While Green Bay doesn’t address the pass rush, it does come away with two talented players at positions of need on the opening day of the draft.

Maurice Jones-Drew (NFL.com)

Maurice Jones-Drew of NFL.com has the Packers addressing the pass rush with both of their first-round selections. First they take edge rusher Jaylon Ferguson out of Louisiana Tech, and then strengthen the defense again with Clemson defensive lineman Christian Wilkins.

Ryan Wilson (CBS Sports)

Another edge rusher that general manager Brian Gutekunst could consider at No. 12 is Clelin Ferrell out of Clemson. Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports has the Packers selecting Ferrell with their first pick in his most recent mock draft. He also has Green Bay addressing the safety position early in the draft with Nasir Adderley out of Delaware.

Luke Easterling (The Draft Wire)

Interestingly, Luke Easterling of The Draft Wire has Green Bay trading down three positions with the Washington Redskins in his latest mock draft. Washington moves up to select a quarterback, the Packers move down but still get the draft’s top tight end, T.J. Hockenson. With their second pick Green Bay addresses its biggest need by selecting Florida State edge rusher Brian Burns.

Kristopher Knox (Bleacher Report)

Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report has the Packers selecting LSU linebacker Devin White with their first pick. Linebacker might not be the team’s biggest need, but White can be a Pro-Bowler and would help improve the Packers defense. Knox has T.J. Hockenson falling to Green Bay at No. 30.
