The countdown to the draft continues this week with the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine.

Draft season is here, and the NFL Scouting Combine gets underway this week. It takes place from Tuesday, Feb. 26 to Monday, March 4, although most of the workouts don’t begin until later in the week.

This is an important week for the Green Bay Packers as they continue to prepare for the draft, which begins on April 25.

Of course, the workouts are important — from the 40-yard dash to the three-cone drill and the bench press. But just as important is the opportunity to meet many draft prospects and get to know them. That’s just as an important part of the combine for NFL teams.

NFL.com has the full list of participants as this year’s combine. For Packers fans, edge rushers like Florida’s Jachai Polite, Florida State’s Brian Burns, Clemson’s Clelin Ferrell and Northern Illinois’ Montez Sweat will all be there.

Three potential first-rounders at tight end will also be at the combine: Iowa’s T.J. Hockenson and Noah Fant, as well as Alabama’s Irv Smith Jr.

This is an important draft for the Green Bay Packers. With a total of 10 selections, they will look to fix a number of positions of need including edge rusher, tight end and the offensive line.

Here’s a full list of the team’s draft picks this year, according to the team’s official website:
