The Green Bay Packers have a favorable strength of schedule in 2019.

Strength of schedule is far from perfect, but it can give us an idea of how tough each team’s schedule will be in the following season. According to CBS Sports, the Green Bay Packers have the 14th toughest strength of schedule in 2019, tied with the Dallas Cowboys.

For a team that went 1-7 on the road this past season, next year’s road schedule doesn’t look particularly exciting. With road games against the Chicago Bears, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers and Dallas Cowboys, the Packers will need to be much-improved on both sides of the ball to compete against these 2018 playoff teams.

But as the strength of schedule suggests, the full list of games doesn’t look too bad. Green Bay will only play two 2018 playoff teams at Lambeau Field. That doesn’t mean much, of course, but it would look a lot worse if they had home games against the New England Patriots, Los Angeles Rams and New Orleans Saints, for example.

As the Packers finished in third place of the NFC North, they will take on third-placed teams from the NFC South and NFC West, which was the Carolina Panthers and San Francisco 49ers.

A year ago, CBS Sports‘ article said Green Bay had the league’s toughest schedule. That turned out to be pretty accurate, as the Packers faced both Super Bowl teams on the road. Half of their road games were against teams that went on to make the playoffs, three of which were division winners.

Here’s the full list of the team’s 2019 opponents, according to Packers.com:
