Packers free agency 2019: Predicting who re-signs, who walks
Byron Bell
Improving at guard and adding more depth along the offensive line should be an offseason priority for the Packers, but I don’t think Byron Bell will be back.
Prediction: Walks
Ibraheim Campbell
Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that the Packers have interest in bringing back Ibraheim Campbell. He also noted that Campbell tore his ACL last season but could be ready by training camp. The defense needs talent at safety, so expect Campbell to be back.
Prediction: Re-signs with the Packers
Davon House
Davon House didn’t play well enough before going on injured reserve last season. I don’t see House returning in 2019, especially if Bashaud Breeland re-signs.
Prediction: Walks
Lance Kendricks
The Packers need to find the future at the tight end position in the draft, which could mean they move on from both Lance Kendricks and Marcedes Lewis.
Prediction: Walks
Marcedes Lewis
While there’s the possibility Lewis is brought back due to his blocking ability, he turns 35 this offseason and I expect the Packers to get younger at the tight end position.
Prediction: Walks
Jake Ryan
Jake Ryan missed the entire 2018 season with a torn ACL. Did he do enough in the three years prior to earn a long-term deal? I’m not so sure.
Prediction: Walks
S Eddie Pleasant
Eddie Pleasant was signed late in the season. If the Packers plan to bring in a free agent or two at the position, it’s hard to see Pleasant coming back.
Prediction: Walks
