9. Quarterback

Aaron Rodgers is under contract through the 2023 season. No problems there. Where the Packers may look to improve is at the backup QB spot. DeShone Kizer didn’t play often in 2018, but he finished the season without a touchdown pass and two interceptions. It’s possible Matt LaFleur will want to make a change at the backup QB position.

8. Wide receiver

Bringing back Geronimo Allison helps at wide receiver. The Packers are in good shape at the position with Pro Bowler Davante Adams, Allison, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown. MVS and EQ could step up in their second seasons.

That said, it’s not out of the question that the Packers will add another receiver at some point in the draft, especially if Randall Cobb isn’t re-signed.

7. Running back

Running the football will be more of an emphasis under Matt LaFleur, so the Packers need to bring in another running back this offseason. Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams give them plenty of talent at the position, but it’s also important to have depth, especially as Jones has missed time due to knee injuries the past two seasons.

Free agency options include Spencer Ware, C.J. Anderson and T.J. Yeldon, but it’s more likely the team uses one of its 10 draft picks at running back.
