6. Linebacker

Blake Martinez continues to offer consistency at inside linebacker, and he’s an underrated player in the Packers defense. But Jake Ryan is a free agent, and the Packers may look to add another linebacker to go with Martinez and Oren Burks.

5. Cornerback

Bashaud Breeland made a big impact in the Packers secondary late in the season, finishing with two interceptions, one of which was a pick-six. At the time of writing, Breeland is a free agent and remains unsigned.

The Packers have a talented young group at cornerback with Jaire Alexander, Kevin King, Josh Jackson and Tony Brown, but without Breeland, depth is a concern. Alexander, who was part of the PFWA All-Rookie Team last season, has the potential to become a star in the secondary.

While not a huge need like a year ago, depth is an issue at cornerback. Re-signing Breeland would help in a big way.

4. Safety

The Packers desperately needed to add talent at safety this offseason, and they’ve already made a great start by signing Adrian Amos. Assuming Tramon Williams continues to play at safety in 2019, he’ll likely start alongside Amos, with Josh Jones also playing an important role.

Amos helped fix one the weakest parts of the defense, but the Packers should still look to add another safety this offseason, most likely in the draft.
