3. New York Jets: Josh Allen, EDGE, Kentucky

The Jets still need pass-rush help after their early free agent spending spree, and they’ll find that plus more with Kentucky’s Josh Allen.

4. Oakland Raiders: Quinnen Williams, DL, Alabama

This pick is the most fascinating of the draft for me. It’s entirely possible that Jon Gruden opts for a young quarterback here, but the addition of Antonio Brown gives me the hunch that they are looking to see what they have in Derek Carr (similar to the Cowboys’ reasoning for acquiring Amari Cooper).

Drafting Quinnen WIlliams could give this Raiders defense a key cog up the middle that will drastically help both the pass and rush defense.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Montez Sweat, EDGE, Mississippi State

The Buccaneers need pass rush help and the athletic Montez Sweat could provide them that. If the board shakes out this way, the Bucs will have a wide variety of great options here.

6. New York Giants: Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State

The Giants appear to be in a rebuilding stage right now, and drafting Haskins would solidify the rebuilding process. Eli Manning‘s days as an NFL quarterback are numbered and Haskins could provide long-term help for the Giants at this crucial position.

Haskins is a traditional pocket passer, which old-fashioned GM Dave Gettleman will likely prefer. I would advise Gettleman to wait for the loaded 2020 quarterback class that could feature the likes of Justin Herbert, Tua Tagovailoa, and Jake Fromm, but I doubt he will.

7. Jacksonville Jaguars: Rashan Gary, EDGE, Michigan

The Jaguars have slightly more overall talent than the other teams in the top-10, and they could go best available player here. Rashan Gary would likely fit this picture.

Anyone who saw Gary at Michigan will know that he is a world-class talent, and adding him to this Jacksonville defense would give much-needed depth for this front seven. His experience in the dominant Michigan 4-3 defense is something that will be valued in the Jacksonville front office.

8. Detroit Lions: Devin White, LB, LSU

Bob Quinn places high value on the linebacker position, and the Lions would be adding a great leader in Devin White if they select him here.
