4. Riley Ridley

Georgia, 6-foot-2, 200 pounds

Brother to emerging Falcons receiver Calvin Ridley, Riley is a well-rounded player that could flourish with Rodgers.

Last offseason, the Falcons drafted Calvin Ridley and he’s slyly become their No. 2 option behind all-world Julio Jones. This offseason, the Packers have the chance to draft Calvin’s younger brother, Riley Ridley, and if he’s anything like his older brother he could become a stud.

You may look at Riley’s production in college and feel like he posted the best numbers, but Riley’s poor production is a result of Georgia’s offensive scheme and the pieces they had around him. Riley is a well-rounded player with natural soft hands who, just like Jordy, has no problem adjusting to the ball.

To fully become a Jordy-calibre player, Riley would need to work on his yards-after-catch ability because he rarely got the opportunity to show that he could pick up yards after the catch. It’s not clear whether he can do it on a level similar to Jordy.

Riley enters the draft more polished as a prospect than the young Packers wideouts did last year.

Peter Schrager of NFL.com has Ridley going to the Packers with the 30th pick. I think this may be a little too early for the Packers. Riley will be available in the second round and the Packers could find themselves a playmaker at pick #44.
