Now under three weeks away from the 2019 NFL Draft, here’s the latest mock draft roundup.

At this stage of the year, we begin to get an idea of the realistic options for the Green Bay Packers at their draft position. Of course, the draft can be unpredictable and is no science.

Ed Oliver and Brian Burns are two players many draft analysts have going around the Packers’ pick. There’s a chance either could be taken in the top-10, but if they are available at No. 12, GM Brian Gutekunst will have a difficult decision to make.

And as this week’s mock draft roundup shows, both Oliver and Burns are popular choices to the Packers at No. 12.

Randy Gurzi (NFL Spin Zone)

In the latest NFL Spin Zone mock draft by Randy Gurzi, the Packers continue to add talent at edge rusher and safety, their two biggest needs in the offseason. Gurzi has Green Bay using the 12th pick to select Florida State edge rusher Brian Burns, and Alabama safety Deionte Thompson at No. 30.

Even after signing Za’Darius Smith and Preston Smith in free agency, using an early pick at edge rusher still makes a ton of sense, especially if Burns is still available when the Packers hit the clock.

Charles Davis (NFL.com)

Charles Davis of NFL.com also has the Packers improving their defense at No. 12 with Houston defensive lineman Ed Oliver. Oliver at No. 12 might be the best-case scenario in three weeks time. Davis then has Green Bay going offense with Mississippi wide receiver A.J. Brown later in the round.

You’ll have no complaints from me if the Packers select Oliver and Brown on Day 1. While wide receiver might not be considered a top need, Brown could be too difficult to pass up if he’s still there at No. 30.

Kyle Crabbs (The Draft Network)

Kyle Crabbs of The Draft Network put together a seven-round mock draft for the Packers, and he also has Oliver going at No. 12 to Green Bay. At No. 30, it’s Iowa tight end Noah Fant. I love, love, love this mock draft. I’m not convinced Fant will still be there when the Packers pick for the first time, but if he is, I’ll run up to the podium on Brian Gutekunst’s behalf.

Chris Trapasso (CBS Sports)

Another great mock draft here. Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports has Green Bay selecting Iowa tight end T.J. Hockenson and Oklahoma offensive lineman Cody Ford in the first round. With a need at guard, the Packers should strongly consider Ford if he’s still available late in the first.
