Three ways the Green Bay Packers can win the 2019 NFL Draft.

The time for talk is almost over. At the time of writing, we’re just 19 days away from the 2019 NFL Draft. Three important days await for the Green Bay Packers, the next stage of their mini rebuild ahead of the new season. But how can the Packers walk away as winners in the draft?

General manager Brian Gutekunst has very much made this team his, taking a new approach to free agency. And by being more active this offseason, Gutekunst has successfully eased the pressure in the draft, giving the Packers the luxury of not needing to focus on a certain position (likely edge rusher) in the first round.

Za’Darius Smith and Preston Smith help fix the need at edge rusher. As a result, edge rusher is no longer the pressing need it once was, although I still expect Gutekunst to address the position again at some stage. Adrian Amos will start right away at safety and will help make the position a strength. Billy Turner could be a starter from Day 1 along the offensive line.

That all said, it will be impossible to have fix everything in the draft, even with 10 picks. But how can the Green Bay Packers win the draft in a few weeks’ time?
