5. When will the Packers address the offensive line?

It will be a question of when, not if, the Packers address the offensive line. Because if they decide not to add talent with one or two of their 10 selections, it’ll be a huge a mistake.

Fortunate to feature multiple Pro Bowlers along the offensive line in recent years, the Packers haven’t done enough to keep adding depth to the line, and as the likes of T.J. Lang and Josh Sitton have departed, they haven’t had replacements ready to go. Depth has become an issue, and with Bryan Bulaga entering the final year of his contract, it’s important to make additions now.

Signing Billy Turner helps as he has the versatility to play multiple positions. He’ll compete for a starting spot. But the job isn’t yet done. Even if Turner plays guard, the Packers need more depth at the tackle positions, and potentially competition for Lane Taylor, Turner and Cole Madison at guard.

It will take a miracle for the entire starting line to go the entire season without injury, and it’s late in the season when the Packers’ depth will be tested. To make a serious push for the playoffs, this team can’t give up 53 sacks (3.3 a game) like it did in 2018.

The question shouldn’t be if the Packers will add talent to the line, but in what round.
