2. Draft Marquise Brown

What the Packer offense needs more than anything is top end speed. Davante Adams and Geronimo Allison just can’t outrun defensive backs, but Marquise Brown absolutely can. He has blinding quickness and after-the-catch ability that will give Matt LaFleur an extremely exciting option on the boundary. Brown can line up in the backfield, slot, or the outside. There is virtually nothing the former Oklahoma Sooner can’t do.

As prolific as Kyler Murray was quarterbacking the Sooners, his deep ball accuracy was a bit shaky. Brown routinely had adjust to deep balls thrown by Murray and almost always came down with them. Durability could be a bit of a question mark given his slight frame, but he is so talented that the upside is worth the risk. At his absolute best, Brown could become the best deep threat from the slot position in the NFL since Cliff Branch.

The Packers may be able to move down a few spots and still grab Brown, who figures to fall within the 15-20 range, but picking him at 12 would not be a mistake. He is an absolute game-breaking talent who might become an even faster and shiftier DeSean Jackson.
