Even after giving up both fourth-rounders to trade up in the first round, the Green Bay Packers still have six selections in the final two days of the 2019 NFL Draft.

The Green Bay Packers added to the defense with both of their first-round picks on Thursday, and they even jumped up nine positions in a trade.

After selecting Rashan Gary and Darnell Savage Jr. in the opening round, the Packers still have plenty of picks to address their other needs.

Here’s a full list of the team’s remaining picks entering Day 2:

  • Round 2 (No. 44 overall)
  • Round 3 (No. 75)
  • Round 5 (No. 150)
  • Round 6 (No. 185)
  • Round 6 (No. 194)
  • Round 7 (No. 226)

That, of course, could change if general manager Brian Gutekunst makes another trade or two. While not necessary as they still have plenty of picks remaining, Gutekunst could look to move down if he feels there’s depth at positions of need. Doing so would allow them to acquire more picks on Day 2 or 3.

Unafraid to make a bold move, as we saw again on Thursday night by trading up, it’s possible Gutekunst will trade up again. Could he look to move up from No. 44 if a player the Packers love makes it to, let’s say, No. 38? It can’t be ruled out.

Either way, we’re all set for what should be yet another exciting evening in the draft. Which positions will the team look to address in the second and third rounds? Gutekunst continues to work on defense, but will he shift his attention to offense and select a receiver like D.K. Metcalf or A.J. Brown, or a tight end like Irv Smith Jr.? Will the Packers add an offensive lineman at some point?

Next. Rashan Gary a high-risk, high-reward pick for Packers. dark

With so much talent still available, the Packers will have options when they hit the clock again on the second night of the draft.
