Offensive line (10)

David Bakhtiari, Bryan Bulaga, Corey Linsley, Lane Taylor, Billy Turner, Cole Madison, Elgton Jenkins, Jason Spriggs, Lucas Patrick, Alex Light

The depth along the offensive line looks a lot better after the offseason additions made by Gutekunst. There is now competition at both starting guard positions with free-agency signing Billy Turner being joined by second-round pick Elgton Jenkins and the returning Cole Madison.

Will Lane Taylor keep his job at left guard? He’ll need a strong training camp, but that’s good for the Packers. Depth at the position ensures there will be competition for starting jobs.

The Packers did miss out on the top tackles in the class, and one has to wonder whether they had hoped to take one of them at No. 44. An early run on tackles saw Jawaan Taylor, Greg Little, Cody Ford and Dalton Risner come off the board within 10 picks of Green Bay in the second round.

David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga will be the starters on each side, but who is the number one backup? Perhaps the Packers see Turner as the long-term replacement for Bulaga at right tackle. But outside of Turner, the top backup at tackle could be Jason Spriggs. We’ll see.

I also have the Packers keeping Lucas Patrick on the roster, as well as Alex Light, who provides some more versatility.
