Which three players could have breakout seasons for the Green Bay Packers this year?

After underachieving for two consecutive years, the Green Bay Packers are hoping for a quick turnaround in the 2019 season. They’ll need Aaron Rodgers to play like Aaron Rodgers. They’ll need contributions from their big-money signings in free agency, and also from a few of their draft picks, both this year and last spring. Also, the Packers will be hoping a few players can have breakout seasons. Let’s take a look at the top three candidates to do just that.

The Packers have had big contributions from young players in recent seasons. Kenny Clark gets better each year and is now arguably the most important player on defense. Kyler Fackrell came out of nowhere in 2018 to lead the team with 10.5 sacks. Blake Martinez led the league in tackles two years ago and was close to finishing number one again in 2018.

If a few Packers have breakout seasons this year, it could help turn this team into not just a playoff contender, but also a force in the NFC. If Matt LaFleur’s scheme fixes the offense and the offseason additions improve the defense, the Packers will win a lot of games this year.

Now that we know the big signings and draft picks, here’s a look at three Packers who could have breakout seasons in 2019.
