The Green Bay Packers host the Washington Redskins in Week 14.

After losing two in a row against the Washington Redskins, can the Green Bay Packers get a win in Week 14 at Lambeau Field?

The big question for Washington is who will be playing at quarterback? The team traded for Case Keenum this offseason, and also used a first-round pick to select Dwayne Haskins.

Last season

After trading for Alex Smith in the offseason, Washington started the 2018 season with a 6-3 record, which including a comfortable 31-17 victory over the Packers. But Smith would go down with a season-ending leg injury in Week 11, and Washington went on to lose six of its final seven games, finishing outside of the playoffs with a 7-9 record.

When is the game?

After playing two straight on the road, the Packers return to Lambeau Field for two weeks in a row, starting with the game against Washington in Week 14, which is on Sunday, Dec. 8.

Offseason additions

Washington’s biggest offseason moves came at the quarterback position. They first traded for Case Keenum, then used the 15th-overall pick in the draft on Dwayne Haskins.

The Redskins signed safety Landon Collins in free agency, but lost Preston Smith to the Packers and wide receiver Jamison Crowder to the Jets.

Washington did strengthen its pass rush in the draft by selecting Montez Sweat in the first round, and they now have a talented young duo at running back with fourth-round pick Bryce Love joining last year’s second-round pick Derrius Guice, who missed his rookie season with a torn ACL.

Player to watch

Dwayne Haskins: My prediction is that by Week 14, Haskins will be the starting quarterback for Washington. And if he plays well in his rookie season, Washington will win games. They have a talented roster and just need better quarterback play.

If either Keenum or Haskins plays at a high level, the Redskins could compete in the NFC East.
