Which three players could surprisingly not make the Green Bay Packers’ 53-man roster?

With OTAs complete and mandatory minicamp taking place this week, the countdown to next month’s training camp is on. And it’s at training camp and in the preseason that the Green Bay Packers will determine who they want to keep on their final 53-man roster ahead of the new season.

As ever, there are many new players on the roster who are competing for starting positions, and others on the roster bubble who are aiming to just make the final 53. Every year, there are surprise cuts around the NFL, and many experienced players don’t make the final 53-man roster. In this article, we’ll look at three players on the Packers roster who could miss out on the final 53 in early September.

This has been an exciting offseason for Green Bay, and with Matt LaFleur taking over at head coach, it’s possible there are even more surprises with roster cuts this year as he works out which players best suit his scheme.

We’re now just six weeks away from the start of training camp, and that’s when it’ll feel like the 2019 season is close. But ahead of the new season, which three Packers could miss out on a position on the team’s 53-man roster?
