How many Green Bay Packers players deserve to be in the NFL Top 100 Players of 2019 list this year?

It’s almost time for the NFL Top Players of 2019, which premieres on NFL Network on Monday, July 22. But how many Green Bay Packers players have a realistic chance of making the rankings?

Last year, five Packers made the Top 100: quarterback Aaron Rodgers (10), wide receiver Davante Adams (45), left tackle David Bakhtiari (91), defensive tackle Mike Daniels (93) and safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (100).

Clinton-Dix is now with the Chicago Bears, but the other four players will all have a great chance to make the Top 100 again this season. Rodgers, Adams, and Bakhtiari are all among the top five at their respective positions, and even after missing games due to injury over the past two years, Daniels is still an excellent player. Daniels is the only Packer on last year’s list who could realistically miss the Top 100 this time, however.

It’s also fair to say that Bakhtiari should be much higher than No. 91 this year after being named an All-Pro for the third straight season.

One Packer who should make the Top 100 this year is defensive tackle Kenny Clark. A rising star and a key player up front in Mike Pettine’s defense, Clark deserves to be on the list this season.

Safety Adrian Amos is another player who could make the list coming off an excellent season for the Bears.

Other potential candidates include cornerback Jaire Alexander, running back Aaron Jones and linebacker Blake Martinez. It’s hard to imagine Jones or Martinez will make the list, but Alexander could be included after making the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2018.
