The 2019 season hasn’t started yet, but it’s never too early to look ahead at potential free agency targets for the Green Bay Packers next offseason.

Two months from the start of the regular season, we’re going to take an early look ahead to next spring, when the Green Bay Packers will be looking to strengthen their roster after winning the Super Bowl. Hey, it’s the offseason, we can be optimistic.

Of course, we won’t know yet which players will even hit free agency until the weeks leading up to the new league year — players may re-sign with their current teams or be franchise tagged next year. But it’s still fun to look ahead at potential scenarios that could play out if each player does become a free agent next March.

The Packers won’t get to pick twice in the first round of the draft again next year, barring a blockbuster trade, and they also likely won’t receive any compensatory picks after being active in free agency this offseason. So that could lead to once again being aggressive in free agency in 2020.

According to Over The Cap, the Packers will have around $13.69 million to spend next offseason, but they’ll be able to free up more cap room with some roster moves if needed.

Next year’s free agency will be here soon enough. Let’s take a look at three players Green Bay could look to sign.
