Two weeks away from training camp, here’s a look at three questions needing answers for the Green Bay Packers ahead of the new season.

Are the Green Bay Packers ready to become contenders in the NFC?

It’s been three years since the Packers were last in the mix for a trip to the Super Bowl, but a busy offseason has led to optimism among fans and analysts that the team is finally ready to bounce back and make a playoff run in 2019.

Following one of the most notable offseasons in recent history for this franchise, will the Matt LaFleur era kick off with a winning season? His team faces a tough test in the regular season opener against the defending NFC Champions, but before then, there are a number of questions that need to be answered at training camp.

Training camp begins in just over two weeks. As ever, training camp creates opportunities for players on the roster bubble to step up. Wide receiver Jake Kumerow did that just a year ago. But it’s also an important time to determine who will start at key positions.

The Packers will be looking for significant improvements in each phase of the game this season, and they have a good chance to achieve that. But before the new season begins, here’s a look at three questions needing answers at training camp.
