Everything you need to know about Green Bay Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling for fantasy football in 2019.

It’s also almost time for the 2019 fantasy football season, which also means there will be key roster decisions to make. Should you consider selecting Green Bay Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling at some point in your draft?

That’s the question this article aims to answer. We’ll take a brief look back at his production from last season, but more importantly, we’ll look at his expected role in 2019, a prediction for the season, and also a look at where to draft him.

MVS has slipped under the radar somewhat, and that could be great news for your fantasy team.

Last season

Valdes-Scantling was the second highest scoring wide receiver for the Packers behind Davante Adams. With an impressive 581 receiving yards and two touchdowns in his rookie season, MVS finished with 111 fantasy points in PPR scoring.

MVS wasn’t consistent enough to start regularly in fantasy, only posting double-digit PPR points in six games.

But there are many factors to consider. First, this was Valdes-Scantling’s rookie season. Second, he was playing in an inconsistent offense that couldn’t get out of its own way. That could all be different in Matt LaFleur’s offense this year.

After a solid rookie season, MVS could be a breakout player in fantasy football in 2019.
