Davante Adams could be a first-rounder in fantasy football for 2019.

One of the best wide receivers in the league, Davante Adams is a star player for the Green Bay Packers, but also a player to target in fantasy football drafts.

But you might need to be willing to use a first-round pick to get Adams on your team, as he enters 2019 as one of the best players for fantasy football.

In NFL Fantasy Football’s Top 50 rankings ahead of the 2019 season, Adams enters at number nine.

This highlights NFL Fantasy analysts’ confidence in Adams, as they have him ranked directly in front of three wide receivers: Falcons superstar Julio Jones, Browns new addition Odell Beckham, and Saints young star Michael Thomas.

And it should come as no surprise. Adams was as consistent as any player in fantasy football last season, and here’s an incredible stat to back it up:

Simply put, if you started Adams every week in fantasy football last season, he didn’t give you a single bad performance. That’s pretty rare in fantasy, no matter the position.

And with the Packers bringing in a more creative scheme, analysts are rightfully optimistic about this offense getting back to its best in 2019.

If the offense improves, Adams’ production should also get better, which might be hard to believe considering how well he did in 2018. According to Fantasy Pros, Adams was the number two wide receiver for fantasy points in PPR (point per reception) scoring last season, behind only DeAndre Hopkins.

Adams’ rise as one of the NFL’s elite wide receivers now makes him one of the top pass catchers off the board in fantasy football, and likely a first-round pick in most leagues.

Will you consider selecting Adams in the first round of your draft? And where do you rank him among wide receivers for fantasy in 2019?
