Cornerbacks (6)

Jaire Alexander, Kevin King, Josh Jackson, Tramon Williams, Tony Brown, Ka’Dar Hollman

When fully healthy, this could be an incredibly talented group.

The great news is that Kevin King is healthy and has been practicing at training camp. Cheesehead TV’s Andy Herman named King one of the standout performers during Sunday’s practice in full pads. King will be, without doubt, a starter if he is healthy.

Second-year cornerback Josh Jackson has been sidelined with a foot injury so far at training camp. Hopefully it won’t keep him out of action for too long.

An interesting note is that rookie Ka’Dar Hollman played some first-team reps, according to Ryan Wood of PackersNews.com. If he can contribute in year one, this secondary could be very good.

Overall, there’s a lot to like about this group. We haven’t even mentioned Jaire Alexander yet, who had an incredible rookie season. He’s the number one corner for the Packers, and a future star at the position.

Tramon Williams brings experience and versatility to the defensive backfield, and Tony Brown is another young player to be excited about.

It’ll be interesting to see how Jackson fits into the starting defense once he’s back from injury. But even without Jackson at practice, the reports have been encouraging about the Packers secondary.
