Wide receivers (6)

Davante Adams, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Geronimo Allison, Equanimeous St. Brown, Jake Kumerow, Trevor Davis

Davante Adams, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison look to be the top three wide receivers on the depth chart. Adams didn’t play in Thursday’s game, and MVS and Allison both went without a catch.

Equanimeous St. Brown had the first touchdown of the Matt LaFleur era, but it didn’t come as many would’ve expected. Texans receiver Keke Coutee couldn’t hold on to JK Scott‘s punt. St. Brown was right there to take the football and reach into the end zone for the touchdown. Being able to play special teams is important, and St. Brown made a great play.

Jake Kumerow had two catches for 27 yards against the Texans and looked great. At this point, only an injury can prevent him from making the roster.

J’Mon Moore didn’t have a great game. He dropped a couple of simple catches, but did end the night well with a touchdown from Tim Boyle. Moore was a fourth-round pick for a reason, and he has the potential to be a good player. But until he can consistently make plays and not make so many drops, it will be difficult for him to make the roster.

Moore will need to play well in the next few preseason games.
