Welcome to Monday’s Packers News Report. Aaron Rodgers missed Sunday’s practice due to back tightness, the same reason he sat out of last week’s preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens.

The team is right to be cautious with Rodgers, but they will now have to decide whether he plays this Thursday against the Oakland Raiders.

It’s the third preseason game, and if fully healthy the expectation would’ve likely been for him to play a quarter or two. If his back feels 100 percent this week, should he play? Or should head coach Matt LaFleur keep Rodgers out of the game no matter what?
